A warm and compassionate space for you to feel, express, process & move through your emotions.

If you are living in a state of overwhelm, are struggling through big life transitions, or are feeling disconnected from your body, know that you are not alone.

I believe that therapy should be as unique as you are. There isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. Each session is tailored to consider the many dimensions of who you are, embracing a holistic, whole-person perspective. While many say it, I truly mean it. My practice integrates traditional talk therapy with somatic (body-based) approaches to offer you a comprehensive path towards healing.

I support adults and teens of all races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities — who experience the full range of human emotions. Many clients I work with are in demanding careers or attending high pressure schools. Together, we’ll explore ways for you to reduce symptoms of burnout, anxiety, perfectionism or self-criticism. I’m also here for you as you navigate interpersonal relationships: while dating, with shifting friendships or complex family dynamics.

Whether you are dealing with recent stressors or seeking relief from long-standing patterns or behaviors, therapy is an opportunity to gain a clearer sense of self & to watch the ripple effects throughout your life.

I’m an advocate for mental health (brain health), self-kindness, and achieving a life-work balance. I invite you to connect with me for a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we’re a fit.

Starting Therapy with Amanda? Here’s What to Expect:

  • Intake Paperwork:

Before our first session, you’ll be asked to fill out intake forms. These will include consent forms, practice policies and questions about your current struggles, history, and goals. This helps me understand where you’re coming from so we can make the most of our time together.

  • Our First Session:

In your consultation session, we’ll review the paperwork you’ve filled out, go over the policies and procedures of therapy. I’ll also ask about your relevant history, what brought you to therapy, and your goals for our work together. We might also explore a somatic approach, try out a coping tool, or simply create a space for you to feel and express whatever emotions are present in the moment.

  • Collaborative Treatment Plan:

Therapy is a flexible, ongoing and collaborative process. I draw on a variety of tools, including somatic techniques, mindfulness practices, and other evidence-based strategies, to support your healing, emotional well-being and growth. Your openness, engagement, and commitment are key to the progress you will make.

  • Your Questions Matter:

It’s important that you feel comfortable and informed, so feel free to ask any questions you have about the therapy process, confidentiality, or anything else on your mind - whether it is session 1 or 100. Remember, this is your space and your journey. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
